Leinster, who are chasing a Heineken Cup and RaboDirect PRO12 double, were already guaranteed a top spot and a home semi-final and the defending European champions have now lost just once since September.
And while Lineen, who will leave the Warriors in the summer, was in buoyant mood after an impressive win over Connacht, he is in doubt as to the size of the challenge that awaits at the RDS.
"The expectation is high," he said. "The players will be positive - this is our cup final. They're the best team in Europe and the most consistent, which is what you measure yourself against.
"Momentum is coming, and it's going to be great next season when we move to Scotstoun, but for now, it's all about the next two games.
"It was tough against Connacht, they're a tough team.
"The main thing was the territory battle - we had to make sure we won that to keep them wide."
