Despite securing the Heinken Cup last season, Leinster are yet to win the RaboDirect PRO12 since the switch to the play-off format - losing the final both times.
And the 6ft 10in lock insists his side are desperate to set things right this year and admitted the whole squad was champing at the bit to make the all important starting XV.
"Our focus is on the Dragons and the lads will be putting their hands up for selection in the game because we have a huge couple of games coming up after it," he said.
"It is really good that everyone is available for selection, it is a boost for the squad that we can rest a couple of players and rotate the squad.
"But there is a lot of confidence whoever goes in will perform because the squad is strong and we have good away from this year.
"Everyone wants to be involved in it, everyone will be putting their hand up for selection so we all have to perform to keep our spot.
"We have been on a good run of form which we want to keep going. It is the business end of the season, it is the most important part.
"If we don't win in the next couple of weeks it will have been all for nothing."
