That has earned Sean Lineen's men an away trip to European champions Leinster, who have lost just once since September, and they will be hot favourites to reach the final.
But Aramburu, who was voted man of the match against Connacht, is determined to make sure his career ends with a RaboDirect PRO12 winners medal, revealing he will have a few extra cheerleaders supporting him in Dublin next weekend.
"I bought tickets for my mum and dad so they could fly from Argentina to see my last game in Glasgow," Aramburu told the Daily Record.
"I was only five when I started playing rugby and my dad was there for me all the time. Now they will be going to Dublin and, I hope, to the final as well. I want to retire with a league winner's medal.
"We can do it. Leinster are the best team in Europe and are in the Heineken Cup Final but this club has a big heart and everyone will work hard to make it happen.
"It was a special night [against Connacht].
"It was our final game at Firhill and two of the coaches and nine of the players are leaving. I'm retiring so I was very proud to be captain.
"When I came to the club two years ago I didn't know much about Glasgow and nor did the people in France where I was playing. Everyone knows about us now."
