Leinster have the small matter of the Heineken Cup final against fellow Irish province Ulster this weekend and recent history shows, doing the doable is no mean feat.
A year ago, Leinster were crowned European champions but a week later lost the PRO12 final to Munster and Humphreys believes history is going to repeat itself.
"We are going to go there [to Dublin] with plenty of confidence and we have a lot of boys in this team who have won big things," said Humphreys.
"I cannot see them losing this weekend. And they won the Heineken Cup last year and lost the following week against Munster and I'm sure they will want to put that right.
"But we are going to be in their fighting and I think they know we have the ability to win.
"We can definitely improve on the Munster performance.
"We felt we brought a little too much pressure on ourselves first-half [and] ended up with Munster having a lot of set-piece in our half first-half.
"We asked a lot of our defence against Munster and even though our defence was outstanding, it's not really what we want to be doing on a regular basis."
