But he joins former Ospreys Mike Phillips, James Hook and Lee Byrne in crossing the Channel to play in France while he will also be departing the club soon after coaching duo Scott Johnson and Sean Holley.
Nonetheless, the Ospreys are currently second in the RaboDirect PRO12 table and Bennett intends to give 100 per cent until the curtain comes down on the season.
Bennett, who hopes to be fit to play for Wales against Italy on March 10, tweeted: "I want to thank the Ospreys and our awesome supporters for a fantastic nine years!
