Pyrgos has already made 23 RaboDirect PRO12 appearances for the club, playing a leading role in the historic away win over reigning European champions Leinster last September.
He scored his first Glasgow try in the Heineken Cup clash with the Dubliners at the RDS two months later, and is in line to start Thursday's match as the Warriors look to maintain their RaboDirect PRO12 play-off push.
Today's contract news continues a memorable week for the scrum-half, who helped Scotland A record a thumping 35-0 win over England Saxons at Netherdale last Friday night.
He told www.glasgowwarriors.org: "I'm hugely looking forward to the Scarlets game on Thursday, and it's a real bonus to have got my future sorted out in advance of such a big fixture for the club.
"I've really enjoyed my first season and a half at the Warriors, and have learned a massive amount from working with world class players like Chris Cusiter and the coaching team here at Scotstoun.
"With our form in the first part of the season, and the signings and re-signings the club have got across the line, there's a very positive feeling around the place, and it's up to us as players to seize on that and make sure we keep winning in the second half of the campaign."
Head coach Sean Lineen added: "It's great news that Henry has decided his future lies at Glasgow Warriors. We've been very impressed by how hard he's worked since joining the club, and with the impact he's made on the field.
"With a guy like Chris Cusiter also in the squad, Henry has had to show a degree of patience at times, but whenever he's had an opportunity, he's made it very clear what he's all about. He's got a fine break on him and good game understanding, and we're excited about working with him to ensure he continues to make progress."
