And having gone down to the Galway outfit in the Sportsground 13-11 back in September, Davies is well aware of the challenge posed by their next opponents.
He told the Scarlets website: "Connacht will be a tough proposition. They are a good team with very little disruption to their team and a lot of continuity in their selection.
"They are probably one of the teams you don't want to play during the international block but our players will take a lot of composure from [the win over Treviso]. They played very well against Leinster, a difficult place to go where we should have got a little more and hopefully the momentum is growing."
Meanwhile Davies had some special praise for fly-half Aled Thomas who has stepped up in the absence of Welsh international Rhys Priestland and Stephen Jones.
Thomas was charged down early against Treviso but came back strongly to lead his side home against the Italians.
Davies added: "Aled Thomas has played very well for us, we've brought him in this season to have a look at him. We've known about him in the past and he's matured really well. He takes the game we plan on the field and runs it very well."
