However the mastermind of the RaboDirect PRO12 outfit's pack insists he's right behind the new head coach Steve Tandy and sees his future with the Welsh region.
"I'm contracted for another couple of years," said the former Wales captain whose current Liberty Stadium deal runs out in the summer of 2014.
"I will be here next year. I'm here to support Steve and my main role is as the forwards coach."
The coaching duo of Johnson and Holley will be joined in heading for the exit this summer by Wales legend Shane Williams (to retirement) and back-rower Tom Smith (joining London Irish).
But Humphreys is confident the RaboDirect PRO12 outfit is still a good place for his coaching career to develop.
"I want to develop and become a respected forwards coach," he added.
