The Scarlets are one point behind Glasgow, who will be looking to avenge a 16-14 defeat at Parc Y Scarlets last month.
Jackson told the Glasgow Warriors website: "Coming back from injury it's a massive game for me. But for the club it's the start of a big run of games during the Six Nations. These games are vitally important to take points from if we want to keep climbing up the league so it's going to be a big game.
"This is always a key period of the season with key guys being away so with our depth in our squad there's a real confidence and hopefully we can push on in these next few games and really keep climbing.
"We played so well down in Llanelli and probably should have won. I think we were the better team, we went down to 13 men and that's always a killer especially against a quality attacking team like the Scarlets.
"I think if we can take that intensity around the contact area and really boss them that will stand us in good stead."
