Fellow Italian outfit Benetton Treviso have begun life in Celtic Rugby with a bang, picking up two victories in their first three games but Aironi have found life more difficult.
That's hardly surprising, however, especially when you consider that Moretti's men are an entirely new entity who were only formed in the lead up to their introduction to the Magners League.
And with his side still getting to know each other, Moretti will be reminding his players to stay positive what ever happens over the next few weeks of the season.
"We know it's gonna be throughout this year," said Moretti.
"But we must stay focused on our work and keep our confidence.
"We're missing some players and against the Scarlets we were without our centres, the ones who played since our first friendly match in the summer.
"Against a Scarlets team with all the top players in, it was really hard to resist for the full 80 minutes of play.
"But we must understand that we are in a learning curve. This first year will be crucial for us to develop the right mentality to compete at this level."
Next up for Aironi is another away trip to reigning Magners Laegue Champions the Ospreys this Saturday.
They then return home to face Edinburgh on October 2 before travelling to Wales to take on the Dragons on October 23 following the first two rounds of their Heineken Cup debut.
