James who made his 150th appearance for the Ospreys in the Ravenhill defeat, understands how tough the game will be, in the caldron that is Thomond Park.
"As soon as you get there, there's a feeling. They have a great following and the crowd is on your back from the moment you get. Munster play for their crowd," James said.
"We are ready for the challenge. We played some good rugby out in Ulster but didn't get the result. We played better rugby last week but there are still things to work on."
"It's a big game, given that Munster are in our group in Europe, but we have to focus just on this weekend's game."
"We all know what Munster are like, they have a good solid pack and great kickers. We just have to focus on own game and hopefully get a result."
Munster currently sit at the top of the Magners League after victories over Aironi and Edinburgh with the Ospreys in fourth in place.
