"It's going to be a bit of different occasion for me playing against Ulster that's for sure," said Rush. "It's not often you end up playing against a team you'll be playing for the following season, but saying that I am looking forward to the game.
"I know their forwards will try and give it to me a bit and I'll probably want to prove a few points as well, so there'll be a bit on it. I don't want to go out there and have a shocker, so I'll be doing my best and hopefully put in a pretty good display."
Explaining his decision to move on Rush added: "It has been a great five years with the Blues and it is sad to be going but I've still got roots here, I've still got a house here, I've got lots of friends here so I'm sure I'll be making lots of trips back, however, I did fancy a change.
"I was quite keen on staying in the Magners League, but I just feel it's time for me to move. It's been a good five years but to get the best out of me I need a fresh challenge, a new start, somewhere I need to prove myself again.
"I just felt that would bring the best out of me for possibly my last two years of rugby."
