Glasgow count the cost of defeat

Glasgow head coach Sean Lineen blasted his players for their "gutless" performance and for leaving Cardiff City Stadium empty handed.

But to further compound their woes, the Warriors picked up injuries to a host of front line players.

The most serious of those were sustained by Scotland centre Rob Dewey, who dislocated his shoulder within minutes of coming on as a replacement, and Calum Forrester, who dislodged his knee-cap.

The duo both face lengthy spells on the sidelines while Glasgow captain Ali Kellock's injury nightmare also continues.

The giant lock made his comeback after a five month lay-off, following knee surgery, at the beginning of the month. But 27-cap Scotland second-row has received a set-back after picking up another, albeit less serious, knee injury.

"We've not had a lot of luck. We've had a dislocated shoulder, a dislodged knee-cap and came on the wrong end of a lot of penalties," said Lineen.

"With three injuries and 14 other players not available to us, that's 17 players out and we just do not have the strength in depth, which showed out there against Cardiff.

"In terms of representing Glasgow there will be changes next week because some of these guys clearly have not got the stomach for the fight.

"We are really disappointed, but there is a home game against Treviso next week and I'll put 15 guys on the field who want to play.

"But we can't bring all the internationals back next week, they are knackered you only have to look at big Richie Gray for instance."
