Pride in defeat for Warriors boss

The Warriors' 20-5 exit at the Liberty Stadium was tinged with sadness for Lineen and the Glasgow fans because it was the last time Dan Parks, Mark McMillan and Kelly Brown will play for the club

"I'm really proud of the fact we stood toe to toe with a quality team and never gave an inch. We didn't get much luck and everything seemed to go their way.

"We came here to win the game, but now we have to go away and learn from the experience. At 7-5 it was all on, but we just couldn't quite nail it.

"But we didn't disgrace ourselves and we had so many youngsters out there in the semi-final of the Magners League - that can only be good for our future."
