It's all about the win say Warriors

Sean Lineen's men currently sit third in the Magners League standings and are already assured of a prized Play-Off spot.

But a triumph at the Parc-y-Scarlets could see the Warriors sneak into a home semi-final and Lineen says that's exactly what his side will be aiming for despite making four personnel changes and one positional switch to the side that beat leaders Leinster last time out.

"It's all about the win," Lineen, whose team are a point behind the second-placed Ospreys, told the Evening Times.

"We are coming off three home wins, but now it is all about the Scarlets, the problems and challenges they pose. They are dangerous opponents."

Victory over Leinster last month may have given Lineen the chance to make changes to his starting XV but he insists that he hasn't weakened his side in any way.

Lineen has recalled Scotland international Rob Dewey to the left wing after the former Ulster player scored a brace of tries against the league leaders.

Fellow Scotland cap Richie Gray is named at lock ahead of Tim Barker, while DTH van Merwe is given a wing berth at the expense of Colin Shaw and Calum Forrester starts on the blindside flank with Kelly Brown moving to openside and John Barclay taking a rest.

"There are a couple of changes, partly guys being given an opportunity but we are not giving those opportunities for the sake of it," added Lineen.

"We have to make sure we send out as strong a team as we can; one we can win with.

"We have a really good squad, with a lot of competition for places, none more so than at lock.

"Richie Gray has had a long season. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for him but he has done outstandingly well. He is a player with huge potential and you cannot ignore a guy like that. He will admit himself it has been a challenging season and this is an opportunity for him.

"Calum has built up plenty of experience and is hungry to kick on. He has been a bit unlucky with dislocating a knee earlier in the season but has come back strongly.

"It is great for us to be able to give John a rest and bring in someone of Calum's quality."
