Scarlets fly half Stephen Jones will only be out of action for a fortnight with the shoulder injury picked up against the Dragons on New Years Eve which took him off the pitch in the second half.
He will not be fit for the Scarlets game against Munster away in the Magners League this Sunday, however it is hoped the Scarlets no 10 will return for the region's big Heineken Cup home fixture at Parc y Scarlets against London Irish on Sunday 17th January 2010.
Jones was assessed by the Scarlets' Chief Medical Officer Mark Ridgewell this morning (Monday) and confirmed that he has sustained a grade one AC joint sprain in his right shoulder that will take him out of action for around two weeks.
