Although the stadium is ready for the big game, Glasgow Warriors remind supporters that roads and public walkways remain slippery, so please aim to arrive early, leave plenty time for your journey and take caution when travelling to Firhill.
Tonight's weather forecast is for low temperatures and some light rain or drizzle so supporters are also advised to wrap up warm.
Tickets for tonight's Greaves Sports 1872 Cup derby can be purchased at the ticket centre located at the rear of the Jackie Husband stand at Firhill Stadium. The ticket centre, turnstiles, bars and concession stands all open at 4pm.
The match-day ticket price for adults is £20 whilst concessions are £10 and under 18s are only £5.
Glasgow season ticket holders are reminded that the Alan Rough lounge inside the Jackie Husband stand is open on a first come first served basis. Come early and enjoy a free mince pie and a glass of mulled wine. The lounge is open to season ticket holders of all ages but mulled wine will only be served to over 18s.
LINEEN'S MATCHDAY PREVIEW
Glasgow Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen, today looked ahead to welcoming an in-form Edinburgh team to Firhill whilst highlighting the fantastic derby day atmosphere generated by both players and fans alike.
Lineen said: "We will welcome an Edinburgh team who have been playing well. Their defence is really strong and they have some game-breakers there.
"I really like the way they're playing. They will be a real handful so we've got to make sure that we're switched on. They will come at us all guns blazing and are a hard team to beat."
On the fervent atmosphere on the pitch and in the stands, Lineen continued: "When you look at Edinburgh v Glasgow games, there is a lot of pride. There are also Magners League points at stake as well as Scotland brownie points and inter-city bragging rights.
"The last few years there has been a bit of niggle and some real edge of the seat stuff. There is no love lost between the two teams which is what you want in a local derby."
