But they hoping to start the New Year with a bang by redeeming themselves against the Scarlets.
"The alarm bells are still ringing and the players are determined to put things right," said Turner.
"We're still licking our wounds and were really looking forward to the Blues game. We had trained well and the boys had been challenged to put in a big performance after a very poor second half in Wycombe.
"The weather denied us the chance to do that against the Blues but the same applies now for the Scarlets.
"There is a real determination in the camp and we have got to be smarter and more resilient than we were against Wasps."
But the Men of Gwent will come up against a Scarlets side looking for their own shot at redemption after crashing to a 60-17 defeat against the Ospreys on Monday.
"We're still frustrated by our performance against Wasps while they will be hurting after their defeat in midweek," added Turner.
"I felt for them because they met a really fired up, physical Ospreys side but that result doesn't detract from what has been a superb season so far for the Scarlets.
"They have a mix of youth and experience and are a really dangerous side to play, any team that has the likes of Regan King, Jon Davies and Jonny Fa'amatuainu in it can be a threat from absolutely anywhere on the park.
"We need to meet them head on. We need to defend well and also bring our attacking game to the party."
