Lining up against Rhys Priestland, another young pretender to the Welsh fly-half throne, Biggar shone. He controlled the game brilliantly, kicked well and capped off a starring performance with a 60-metre try.
With Stephen Jones currently sidelined and facing a RBS 6Nations fitness race and Warren Gatland in the crowd, Biggar's performance could not have been timed better.
"I am enjoying my rugby at the moment," said Biggar.
"This is a great place to play rugby and a great environment. It's nice to play well in front of a packed house like that and nice to play well for these guys around me in the team.
"Our pack was pretty special again out there. They were superb."
The win saw the Ospreys leapfrog the Scarlets into second place in the Magners League and Ospreys head coach led the tributes to Biggar's virtuoso performance.
"As a coaching team, we have been consistent about Dan's consistency," said Holley.
"What we've found with him is if you give him a run of games, he plays pretty consistently.
"His defence is improving, his goal-kicking is top-notch at the moment and it's great to have him in our squad.
"He's obviously got people around him that help and James Hook was particularly good out there again and when your pack is going well it compliments things."
