Edinburgh Rugby Club can confirm that we are actively investigating all available travel options ahead of the Magners League match against Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
The club's travelling party for the game is due to fly from the Scottish capital to Cardiff on Friday, but the ongoing closure of Edinburgh Airport has led to other avenues being explored to give the team the best chance of fulfilling the fixture.
The safety of players and management travelling to the game remains the club's overriding concern, but we will endeavour to establish an appropriate contingency plan should the current extreme weather conditions prevent us from following our intended itinerary.
We are in regular dialogue with Celtic Rugby and Ospreys, and will continue to keep supporters informed of any developments.
