Forshaw also had a brief stint as a player at Saracens rugby union club and was briefly the Player Performance Lifestyle Advisor for the Rugby Football League. He joins Connacht from Wigan, where he was a strength and conditioning coach.
He joins a back row coaching and management staff in Galway that includes a new director of coaching in Eric Elwood, who has taken over from Michael Bradley. Tim Alnutt remains as team manager, Dan McFarland will be assistant coach, Brian Melrose will look after the backs and Conor McPhillips wil be the video analyst.
