Davies a member of Warren Gatland's autumn international squad, suffered a recurrence of his ankle injury and will hope to recover in time for the Warriors visit to Parc Y Scarlets on Friday to prove his fitness ahead of the international series.
"Jon is not far away and hopefully he will have a game next week," said Scarlets boss Davies.
"He knows he needs a game under his belt, he wasn't that far away this week but wasn't 100 per cent right and we just didn't want to risk any long-term damage to his injury."
McCusker hobbled off with a knee problem on Friday and Stoddart picked up another hamstring injury just as he returned from two years out.
"It's very frustrating for Morgan," Davies added.
"I really do feel for him because he has had this injury and he is still struggling to fully recover from it, but he just has to keeping working hard and he will be back."
