The journalists from Rugby! Magazine, who contribute to the Italian section of this website, have chosen their best Magners League players for the games from Round 1 to Round 4.
Three teams have been represented by three players: top-standing Munster have back rowers Denis Leamy and David Wallace and lock Donnacha Ryan; Amlin Challenge Cup Champions Cardiff Blues have fullback Ben Blair, lock Bradley Davies and hooker T Rhys Thomas, while surprise package Connacht see fly-half Ian Keatley, wing Fionn Carr and prop Brett Wilkinson earn selection.
Italy receive two nominees in the September XV with the inclusion of scrum-half Tobias Botes and international prop Lorenzo Cittadini, both of whom have starred for an impressive Treviso outfit.
The Scarlets are represented by top try scorer Jonathan Davies and flanker Johnathan Edwards, while Edinburgh wing Tim Visser and Ulster centre Darren Cave complete the squad.
