Frank Hadden, head coach, said: "After a slow start Fergus has impressed everyone at the club with both his ability and his attitude. I believe he will be a genuine contender in the second row mix next season.
"Dougie has had a fine season and I am pleased with the progress he has made. This new contract should be the springboard to great things for him. With the addition of Dave Hewett and the growing experience of the front row, I am expecting this area to become a real strength at our club.
"Michael made a big impact when he joined us on a part-time contract at the beginning of this season. His hamstring injury while playing for Canada against Italy came at an unfortunate time but he has continued to impress with his work ethic and commitment to developing his game. A full-time contract next season should give him the opportunity to prove that he is more than capable of making a consistent impact at this level."
Dougie Hall said: "I am delighted to re-sign for Edinburgh and look forward to contributing for another two years. I am excited about the challenges which are ahead and hope to help Edinburgh perform in Heineken Cup and Celtic League. "
Fergus Pringle said: "I have enjoyed it very much this year here at Edinburgh Rugby and am looking forward to the challenges of the season ahead. I am hoping to make a real contribution to the team next year."
Michael Pyke said: "I am happy with how things have gone this year and I am enjoying it here in Edinburgh and have felt really welcome. It was a great relief to know that Frank Hadden wants to continue my contract for a further two years and I am really excited about next season as we have been doing very well at the moment. I think we are shaping up to have a very strong squad next year and I have high expectations of a good season."
