Harrison, who arrived in Belfast just over two weeks ago, has settled well into the Ulster set-up, with a pre-season training camp last week providing an ideal opportunity for the newcomers to the squad to get to know their team-mates.
Young gun Andrew Trimble who is now beginning his second full season with Ulster also earns his first start, and will partner the experienced Paul Steinmetz in the centre.
James Topping returns from injury to make his first appearance for Ulster in a year.
