Edinburgh Gunners' back-row forward Todd Blackadder is recovering from an operation to his left shoulder which was performed yesterday.
Todd will commence his rehabilitation programme immediately with the Gunners' physio team. The standard recovery period for this type of operation is 12-16 weeks.
Todd said: "I'd like to thank my surgeon Dr Gordon Mackay and the staff at Ross Hall in Glasgow for looking after me so well. I'm also glad to be in such safe hands as I start my rehab with the Edinburgh physio team as they are among the best in the world at what they do."
