Evans Joins the Blues

Evans made his debut for the Scarlets in 2003 and has gone on to play 75 times for the region, including sixteen Heineken Cup games, and notching up 11 tries.

In the Autumn of 2006 Evans was called up to the Welsh squad and made his debut in the November test against the Pacific Islands.

Speaking of the signing, Cardiff Blues Director of Rugby David Young said,

"Once Gavin had made the decision to leave the Scarlets to experience a different environment, we were obviously very pleased to hear he was interested in joining the Blues."
