This latest announcement comes as Eddie resumed full training ahead of Friday night's showdown with European champions, Munster, at Firhill (kick-off 7:45pm) following a knee injury sustained during Glasgow's historic win over Toulouse in France almost ten weeks ago.
After putting pen to paper this morning, Eddie said: "I'm really happy to have signed for another two years because the club is going places and there's a great atmosphere both in the squad and in the stands at Firhill.
"I feel I've made real progress in the three years I've been with Glasgow and I want to stay here to try and make that next step up."
Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen added: "James is a hugely energetic player and trainer, and if you cut him in half, you'd see he's Glasgow through and through."
Tickets for Friday night's showdown with Munster - priced at £15 for adults, £10 for concessions (including students) and £5 for under 18s - are available by calling the ticket hotline on 0844 800 2490 or by logging onto www.glasgowwarriors.org
