Already attendance averages are up from 14,500 (2008/09 season) to 16,455 so far in Magners League and Heineken Cup competitions, which marks a 13% increase.
On Sunday the province will welcome the 150,000th supporter through the turnstiles for the visit of Ulster to the RDS.
Commenting on this announcement, Leinster Chief Executive Mick Dawson said: "Over the last few years Leinster have consistently been the best supported side in the Magners League. Today's announcement is further evidence of our growing international standing. It is very encouraging to think that in the current economic climate over 5,000 supporters have already renewed their seats for next season and shows the popularity of Leinster and the RDS as an entertaining family-friendly venue.
"Last year Leinster were the fourth best supported team in Europe and season ticket prices have been frozen for the coming season. Hopefully we can surpass last season's total of 9,500.
"This is another timely boost of confidence for the team and management ahead of an extremely important period in the season."
*Adult season tickets start from €219 which includes all Magners League home fixtures and all home Heineken Cup pool fixtures with priority purchase for any knock-out games. Season tickets will go on general sale from Monday, 30th March on www.leinsterrugby.ie
