He believes that Sunday's Magners League visitors to Parc y Scarlets will be eager to continue the work which has seen them enjoy some notable championship success over the past couple of years.
He told a Parc y Scarlets press conference: "We often struggle against Edinburgh. They play a very open brand of rugby, they use the full width of the field when they attack and they've caught us out on many occasions.
"They'll present a big threat, particularly when we haven't got the ball. I think they'll have a real crack at us and the result will hang just as much on what we do without the ball as what we do with it.
"Our defeat up there in September was pretty much a horror show for us in terms of some of the stuff we did and didn't do so it's imperative that we do all we can to turn things around this weekend."
