Speaking after signing his contract today, Parker said: "I'm obviously pleased to have secured my future at the Ospreys, I believe that I still have a lot to offer the region. The coaches and players here have helped me so much since I signed in 2004, and along with the amazing fans who are the heartbeat of the organisation, have made me feel extremely welcome here.
"To sign me up for another three years, for what may be my final contract, shows the belief that the Ospreys have in me, and is an indication of how they have supported me over the last five years. I want to repay that faith over the next few seasons by helping to bring more success.
"The Ospreys are like a family to me, and I'm happy and proud to be a part of it, Wales is my home and I want to stay here after my rugby career finishes."
Ospreys Head Coach, Sean Holley added: "We are obviously delighted that Sonny will be staying with us beyond this season. As one of the senior professionals at the region, he brings a lot to the Ospreys, both on and off the field. He is an international calibre player who possesses a lot of leadership qualities. He is particularly adept at mentoring some of the younger talent that we have, passing on his considerable knowledge and experience for the good of the region.
"He has been a real big game player for us in recent seasons, and we firmly believe that there is more to come from a player that we consider to be a true Osprey."
