Bowe has become the hero of the travelling hordes with his try scoring exploits to date on tour and will be looking for try number five on his Lions Test debut. He also has to try to keep on eye on local hero, Bryan Habana.
But the Ulsterman turned Osprey believes the strength of support from the 'Red Army'; could inspire the Lions to win their first Test since June, 2001.
"It's great to have the fans out here cheering us on and some of them are even chanting my name," said Bowe.
"I've had English, Welsh and Scottish fans coming up to me and wishing me good luck, which is just fantastic. I just hope I can give them all something to shout about in the game.
"It looks as though it could be 50-50 in terms of the crowd. It is going to be a carnival atmosphere.
"The tour has gone well for me to date and I'm just going to stick to what I normally in the build-up to the game. I'll be chilling out in the morning, trying to relax, and then building up the momentum with the lads in the dressing room."
Even though they are unbeaten on tour to date with six wins, Bowe and his team mates know that it will be a huge step up against a Springbok side seeking revenge for their defeat by the Lions 12 years ago.
